By accessing and using AutoBounds ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

AutoBounds, operated by Human Quest LLC, is an AI-powered web application that enables users to:

• Capture satellite imagery of agricultural areas
• Extract field boundaries using advanced computer vision and AI models
• Review, edit, and refine automatically generated field polygons
• Export field boundary data in industry-standard formats (GeoJSON, Shapefile)
• Manage projects, farms, and field data in an organized hierarchy

Account Registration and Security

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• You may not share your account with others or create accounts for fraudulent purposes

Usage and Conduct

Permitted Use

You may use the Service for:

• Mapping agricultural field boundaries for legitimate business purposes
• Research and analysis related to precision agriculture
• Integration with existing farm management and GIS systems

Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purposes

Pricing and Payment

• The Service operates on a pay-as-you-go credit system
• Credits are consumed when you perform AI-powered field extractions
• All purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by law

• Payment processing is handled securely through Stripe

Data Ownership and Rights

Your Data

• You retain ownership of all field boundary data and projects you create
• You can export your data at any time in standard formats
• You can delete your data and account through the application

Service Improvement

• We may use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve our service (we do not use customer data for AI model training)
• We do not claim ownership of your specific field boundary data

Third-Party Services and Content

The Service integrates with third-party providers:

• Satellite Imagery: Sourced from Esri World Imagery and other providers
• Weather Data: Open-Meteo API for agricultural weather information
• Cloud Services: Google Cloud Platform for infrastructure and data storage
• Payment Processing: Stripe for secure credit card transactions

Your use of third-party content through our Service is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

Open Source Technologies

Our Service incorporates several open source technologies and models:

• Delineate Anything: Agricultural field boundary detection model
• Segment Anything Model 2 (SAM2): Meta's segmentation model for interactive refinement
• SAM-Geo: Geospatial extensions for segmentation models
• MapLibre GL JS: Open source mapping library (BSD-3-Clause License)
• NDVI Analysis: Normalized Difference Vegetation Index calculations for crop health assessment

We acknowledge and appreciate the contributions of the open source community. These technologies are used in accordance with their respective licenses. Users are free to use, study, and build upon the outputs generated by these open source components within the bounds of applicable licenses.

Service Availability and Performance

• We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
• AI model accuracy may vary depending on imagery quality, season, and geographic region
• Processing times may vary based on system load and complexity of the selected area
• We reserve the right to implement usage limits to ensure fair access for all users

Intellectual Property

• The Service platform, user interface, and integration software are our proprietary technology
• Open source components are used in accordance with their respective licenses and remain subject to those licenses
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our proprietary platform without permission
• All trademarks, logos, and brand names are the property of their respective owners

Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Disclaimers

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• AI-generated field boundaries are estimates and may require manual verification
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of results for any specific purpose
• Users are responsible for verifying field boundary data before use in critical applications

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time through the application
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy
• Unused credits are forfeited upon account termination

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
